Call for Papers
The Call for Papers e-flyer can be downloaded from here (PDF) or here (PNG).
Researchers, academics, professionals and other interested delegates are particularly invited to submit papers reporting their works and/or research outcomes related to innovation in the theme and tracks as described below.
Conference Theme
The theme of the conference is: Mobilizing Global Collaboration to Deliver Climate Change Action.
Parallel Session Tracks
The theme will be addressed in invited talks and submission of papers in 6 different tracks, i.e:
- Circular economy and waste management
In the immersive ambition to fasten country’s economic development, there has been threatening condition of exceeding the Carrying Capacity of the Earth. Unfortunately, these environmental problems have existed in some industrializing contexts in the lacking social awareness for conserving resource and recycling waste. The aims for this call paper are to enlighten a shifting from a linear economy (take, make, dispose) to a circular economy (renew, remake, share) that is expected to support significantly the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production. The circular economic model is expected to contribute for a better waste management practice in north and southern economic hemispheres. The thematic themes for the call for paper consist of, but not limited to, normative, positive, and postmodern circular economic analysis as follow: Designing Value Chains Industry 4.0 to Support for Circular Economy, Crafting the Circular Technological Innovation to Solve Food and Non Food Waste Management Issues, Assessing the Role of the Digital Technology to Solve Waste Management Problems, Examining the Social Activism to Enact Sound Environmentally Global Movement for Sustainable Development, Analyzing the Ecologically Production and Consumption Footprints in Post Modern Development Contexts, Appraising the Circular Economic Policies & Incentives to Overcome Climate Change.
- Decarbonization and Carbon Tax
Reinventing new potential green biotechnological frontiers to reduce carbon emissions, formulating industrial technology to support environmentally sound manufacturing practices, Examining the business & scientific potentials of digital technology to monitor and to improve carbon footprints, analyzing and evaluating decarbonizing economic investments around the world, Evaluating prospering and pitfall factors of implementing carbon tax policies.
